The ABS actuator is a hydraulic device that communicates with the ECU to control the brakes under emergency situations. The ECU monitors the rotational speed of your wheels and compares it to the speed your car is traveling. When it senses a wheel beginning to rotate more slowly than it should, the ECU knows that tire is beginning to skid.So having alot of trouble with my 105 cruiser and the abs brake booster pump & accumulator. About 12 weeks ago was driving and pump failed causing loss of brakes, so took it to my mechanic and we put a complete used abs pump master cylinder booster in, this worked for about a month and abit then symtoms of failing started to show.
