Doctor ...hCG levels are only indicative of seeing SOMETHING on the ultrasound. I believe if they are under 1500 you will not be able to see anything. They are not a good indicator for when you should see a heartbeat. I went for an ultrasound at 6w 0d and we saw gestational sac and yolk sac. I went again at 6w 3d and we saw the fetal pole and heartbeat.
