Its a 3.8 convertable and the power windows don't work. At first if you wiggled the master window switch assembly it would work. Now it totally gave out, not even the passenger side window switch works. I figured it was the master window switch and replaced it with a OE unit from Ford, but still doesn't work. I probed the lock and unlock switch ...1. Window wouldn't work but then you removed the door panel, you got voltage at the motor (wires were moved to do this). 2. You plugged it back in but left others unplugged and it worked. You then plugged in some and it stopped working (again wires were being moved around and flexed at the connectors) 3.

Ekow.remove the screws that hold the black part thats by the inside lever and pull the cover. unplug the switches (small screwdriver helps for the lock tabs on the back side) set that part aside. door pannel has 2 screws, one behind where the part you just removed, and the other is bottom corner.
