I am shock because my 79 f150 wear out u joint fast than his f250 but he have more miles. His f250 have 150,000 miles still work great expect bad mpg 8.Thread the castellated nut onto the end of the spindle. Be careful not to cross-thread it. Once the nut is on, spin it on as far as it will go by hand, then gently use a wrench on it, as both the inner and outer bearing rings sometimes need to seat on the spindle. It should be obvious when they’re seated.
