A C never had a voltage regulator. It had a cut out relay, which is about 1/3 the size of most regulators. The 3 way light switch charged at low charge pushed in, by using a resistor in the switch. If you wanted a higher charge rate, you pull the switch out. Decided to change the AF and flush my system as it has been about 8 years since it was done last. Lucky I did as I found I have oil in my system. I assume the oil cooler is leaking as that is the most likely source.
