I think I have everything setup correctly with the xTeVe and Plex but it still doesn't work. I read it's not possible to configure plex with two different channel guides and that might be the problem. ... have plex server look up xteve to access its M3U and channels from there This sometimes gets screwed up and it won't auto=update the channels ...The port is for UPnP / DLNA and cannot be changed. Two programs with the same port cannot run together on one system. Yes Plex use port 1900 for DLNA, deactivate DLNA in Plex or install xTeVe on another computer in the same network.

In Xteve you click on XMLTV and add that dropbox link as the URL of your guide data. IMPORTANT: if you're using dropbox, the link will end with dl=0. Change that to dl=1. Once that's setup, you're good - the file will update daily but the link won't change.
